The new flagship streaming turntable offers lossless FLAC audio at up to 24 bit/48 kHz for uncompromising sound
Turntable specialist Victrola has launched the latest flagship in its Stream turntable range, the Victrola Stream Sapphire. Featuring enhanced connectivity solutions, the Victrola Stream Sapphire enables the streaming of vinyl to Sonos and UPnP compatible Wi-Fi enabled speakers and devices.
Users can stream to their preferred speaker setup via the Victrola Stream app, allowing easy streaming to Sonos and compatible Wi-Fi enabled speakers and audio devices without the need for additional devices.
Designed for vinyl enthusiasts, the Victrola Stream Sapphire features a low-resonance MDF plinth with genuine walnut veneer, aluminum bezel and height-adjustable sound-dampening aluminum feet for easy leveling and isolation. A two-speed brushless motor provides quiet speed control, while the pre-installed audiophile-grade Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge attached to a removable cartridge head, low-resonance carbon fiber tonearm and precision gimbal bearing design minimize distortion. The built-in preamp and gold-plated RCA outputs allow playback on conventional component audio systems or modern powered speakers. The Stream Sapphire supports lossless FLAC audio up to 24-bit/48kHz.
The Victrola Stream Sapphire is available for pre-order from audio retailers Audio Advice and Crutchfield and will be available for custom installations from mid-August on victrola.com and select retailers at a suggested retail price of $1,299.
