Disney’s Mufasa – The Lion King explores the legacy of the King of the Jungle and Simba’s father, introduced in the classic The Lion Kingwhich was recently remade. In the Hindi version of the upcoming film, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan lends his voice along with his sons Aryan and AbRam.
Following the blockbuster success of the 2019 live-action adaptation, Shah Rukh Khan returns as Mufasa, taking audiences back to the origins of this iconic character. Aryan Khan will lend his voice to Simba, while AbRam will play the young Mufasa.
This year’s most anticipated new release, the visually stunning live-action Mufasa – The Lion Kinghas released its Hindi trailer.
Mufasa has an incredible legacy and is the ultimate king of the jungle, passing on his wisdom to his son Simba. I have a deep connection to him as a father and can also identify with Mufasa’s journey in the film. Mufasa: The Lion King shows Mufasa’s life from childhood to his rise to become an incredible king and bringing this character back to life was extraordinary. For me, working with Disney is special, especially because my sons Aryan and AbRam are part of this journey and it is really meaningful to share this experience with them.
Shah Rukh Khan spoke about the connection.
