Death in Paradise Spoilers for season 13 follow.
Ralf Little has announced the upcoming guest star from “Death in Paradise” that made him “starstruck.”
The actor returns as DI Neville Parker for the historic 100th episode of Death in Paradise this weekend (February 4), which sees season one guest star Sean Maguire kick off an impressive guest list for the upcoming season.
One of the most exciting guest stars for Ralf was the legendary Oscar winner Hayley Mills, who starred in film classics such as “Twins Rarely Come Alone” and “Whistle Down the Wind” as well as the hit series “Saved by the Bell”.

Looking back on working with Mills, Ralf said: “Oh my God, Oscar winner Hayley Mills! She’s the only person who fascinated me so much that I just had to take a photo with her. She was just amazing. She was at the top of the film industry. She won an Oscar as a child, Whistle Down the Wind is one of my favorite films of all time.”
“For someone with that reputation and experience, it would be entirely possible that she could be diva-like, difficult and demanding, but she was the most gentle, professional, sweet, entertaining, funny and sociable person… simply a dream! A living legend in the industry.”
Ralf also piqued the interest of some of the show’s other guests, including Pearce Quigley (“the funniest man in the world”) from “The Full Monty” and Richard Fleeshman from “Coronation Street.”
“It’s always nice to have friends there, which is great for me, like Richard Fleeshman, who I’ve known for 20 years,” the actor explained. “He’s a great actor and a nice guy.”

“It was also really exciting to see Sean Maguire again. He was in the very first episode and played the same role. It’s not really mentioned in the episode but keen viewers will notice! I met Sean a few times and just loved him.
“He was entertaining, funny, professional and a brilliant actor. I’m a little annoyed though because he’s now the only person other than me to have done the show twice! However, he played the same role and I’m the only one to have played two different roles, so I still achieved that little personal milestone!”
Long-time fans will remember that before Ralf was cast in the role of Neville Parker, he appeared in the second season of Death in Paradise as a completely different character. Fast forward to season 13 and he will be part of the show’s 100th episode, where the life of Police Commissioner Selwyn Patterson is at stake in a murder mystery-like thriller.
Death in Paradise and its spin-off, Beyond Paradisebroadcast on BBC One and streamed on BBC iPlayer. The new series of Death in Paradise Premiere on February 3, 2024.
