The not so new couple were already together in college
Daisy Kent is happy to be back with her college love, who follows her Bachelor Exit!
On Monday, May 13, the 25-year-old reality star visited the Soaking in with Becca Tilley and Tanya Rad Podcast where she talked about how she and her boyfriend Thor Herbst are getting a second chance at love.
While speaking to the ladies, the podcast hosts joked that the guys were “trying their luck” with Kent after Joey Graziadei ultimately gave the final rose to Kelsey Anderson.
Tilley, 35, and Rad, 36, found out that Kent is in a relationship after asking her about her current love life.
“What a great name!” said the co-hosts, which was their first reaction to the headlines that Kent was dating “Thor.”
“A very strong name,” they joked.

According to Kent, her new boyfriend isn’t all that new. “We were together four years ago,” she said. “Yeah, so a long time ago.”
Kent explained that she and her old flame first dated in college before rekindling their relationship.
“We weren’t together very long, but after that we were always really good friends and our whole college friend group is super close. And then, yeah, and then it just happened the way it happened,” she explained.
Kent revealed that Autumn made the decision to end the relationship, but also agreed that it was probably the smartest move the two made at the time, adding that they “just wanted to have fun” during their time in college.
But when Herbst saw that things weren’t going well with 28-year-old Graziadei, he tried his luck with Kent.
“He reached out and then we – only after the show did we decide to give it a try, and we’re trying and it’s going well,” Kent said, laughing.
And despite Kent’s sudden fame, she said she and Herbst actually see each other “really often.”

“I’ve known him for so long. He’s always been like a good friend to me,” she added.
After a few jokes about Autumn being “very sure” of Kent’s friendship with Tyler Cameron, she also shared that her boyfriend is “very supportive” of her newfound fame.
“I called him before I came here. I was just like, ‘I might get asked about this. Should I not say anything?’ He was like, ‘Whatever you want to say. But if you ever feel uncomfortable, just say this is between him and me,'” Kent said. “So he’s very supportive of what I want to do and all that, but he never thought this would happen.”
