Lee Young Ae talked about the romance she will portray with Song Seung Heon in “Saimdang, the Herstory.”
On November 30, a press conference for the new SBS drama “Saimdang, the Herstory” was held at a hotel in Gangreung, Gangwon Province.
Lee Young Ae plays a college professor who teaches the history of Korean art and Shin Saimdang in the drama. The drama shows Lee Young Ae discovering Shin Saimdang’s diary and tracking down the origin of a mysterious painting.
About the romance she will portray with Song Seung Heon in the drama, Lee Young Ae said, “I was too nervous and kept making mistakes. We decided to film romantic scenes later when we feel better with each other.”
Lee Young Ae continued, “I could imagine myself getting nervous, but I also think the scenes would look more realistic if I came across as nervous.”
Lee Young Ae also said, “Song Seung Heon is a very charming person and all the female staff members always gather to watch Song Seung Heon’s scenes. I envy Song Seung Heon’s popularity so much.”
Meanwhile, “Saimdang, the Herstory” will premiere in early 2016.
