Ok, so to dig deeper: I started the document in April and have been gradually adding little things over the last few months. The draft has been opening every time I restart my computer, but for some reason it’s not even showing up in history recently. We had a power outage (shouldn’t be anything more than turning off the computer) and I added another computer to my iCloud (this one has a newer OS).
I turned on my iPad and it showed up there just as I remembered, but when it was connected to the internet, iCloud refreshed and the file was gone. I’m glad I took a screenshot of it.
Is there a way to track iCloud history, like using a time machine or searching for old files? It’s been less than 30 days (2 or 3 days) and it WAS a file stored in iCloud.
Any suggestions on how I could go back in my iCloud file history would be awesome. I didn’t have Time Machine turned on but this file was on my desktop for months. When I opened my iPad it showed up there (but couldn’t download) and when the iPad connected to the internet it disappeared but below I have the screenshots of this file to show that it WAS there.
