With some incredible walk-offs at the Women’s College World Series and some exciting regional tournaments in Little League, the excitement and popularity of the sport of softball is greater than ever.
Now the next generation of aspiring softball stars is heading to Greenville, North Carolina, for the Little League Softball World Series tournament.
At the LLSWS 2024, 12 teams will once again compete for the championship title. For the second year in a row, eight clubs from the USA and four international teams will take part.
The tournament also celebrates its 50th anniversary and even brings back the 1974 LLSWS champions – Wellsboro Little League (Tampa, Florida) – to celebrate and honor them before the championship game on August 11.
There is a lot to be excited about and look forward to as a new champion will be crowned this year.

How to watch the Little League Softball World Series
- TV channel: ESPN2, ESPN, ABC
- Live broadcast: ESPN+, Fubo
Viewers who want to catch every game of the Little League World Series will have to resort to streaming. Games 15 through 22 can be broadcast nationally on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC, while 13 of the first 14 games are available exclusively on ESPN+.
Once the games air on traditional cable, viewers can also enjoy the action on Fubo, where new subscribers get a free trial.

The Little League Softball World Series begins on Sunday, August 4th and ends with the final game on Sunday, August 11th. Games will be played at Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park in Greenville, NC.

Ranking of the Little League Softball World Series 2024
The entire group is divided into two halves – purple and orange. Whoever comes out of each of these two smaller groups will end up playing for a chance to become champions. Since the tournament is run on a double elimination basis, a loss is not the end as the team gets another chance to keep their championship dreams alive.
