Amazon officially partners with TikTok.
Amazon ($AMZN) has officially partnered with TikTok to allow people to purchase Amazon products through the TikTok Shop. This massive partnership marks a new era in content creation as the TikTok Shop is one of the largest revenue and product suppliers for various TikTok creators and users.
Here’s what we know about the partnership so far.
Amazon cooperates with TikTok
If you are an avid TikTok scroller, you have probably come across various videos promoting products on the TikTok shop. The popular shop has offered consumers various products, whether from a large company or a private seller.
In fact, the TikTok Shop is a great supporter of small artists and businesses.
And now Amazon’s e-commerce business is taking on the popular TikTok store. TikTok isn’t the only app Amazon is partnering with, though. Apps like Pinterest and others will join the party, allowing people to buy Amazon products through their interfaces.
So how will this work for TikTok?
How will it work?
While there isn’t too much information about the partnership yet, it’s unlikely to change the way the TikTok store works much, if at all. It’s safe to assume that the TikTok store will include an Amazon page dedicated to promoting Amazon products.
Amazon is also allowing private sellers, so each seller can be assigned multiple pages. Either way, this will open up a whole new level of partnerships with brands and developers and usher in a new era of content creation.
But will Amazon Prime work in the TikTok shop? That is not yet known.
Do you buy Amazon items through the TikTok store? Or do you continue to go directly to the company’s website?
