What wonderful news, just in time for the weekend. Xbox has added three classic games that are free to download.
If you didn’t know about it until now, it’s because Xbox has been pretty tight-lipped about this surprise release.
Instead of making it known loudly, it was kept secret.
Thankfully, Redditors were on hand to make sure we were informed of the news – what would we do without them!
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has landed on Xbox Game Pass.
Fans who remember the first three games will want to add this game to their library for a much-needed dose of nostalgia.
Are you ready for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy?
User marzbarzx described it as if his childhood was flashing before him after seeing the announcement.
Another fan said it was “like Christmas” to see these games available.
Everyone is happy to see such a popular selection of games within reach… Everyone except those who aren’t Game Pass subscribers.
As you may have noticed, this is a subscription offer, so if you want to experience these titles without Game Pass, it will cost you $39.99.
While this may be frustrating for some of you, it’s worth the price considering how long it takes to unlock all the achievements in the first game.
Provided you don’t throw your controller out the window first.
The return of old games seems to be a recurring theme at Xbox, after it was confirmed that a long-demanded remake is finally in the works.
Now if only we could get a new Spyro game, we would be over the moon.
Xbox Game Pass has a particularly impressive selection of free games this August, so maybe it’s time for you to renew your subscription…?
Whatever you’re doing this weekend, we hope it involves lots of Crash Bandicoot.
