City Girls rapper Yung Miami broke her silence about her romance with Diddy as his legal troubles escalated.
On Thursday (August 8), Yung Miami addressed her two million Twitter followers with a message and a trailer for the latest episode of her Caresha, please Podcast with Saucy Santana on REVOLT TV.
In the trailer for the podcast, Saucy Santana pulls no punches and gets right into the deep end, asking Yung Miami about her relationship with the disgraced Bad Boy Records mogul and questioning her about her silence during the barrage of sexual harassment allegations that have targeted Diddy this year.
In the short tweet, the “Act Up” rapper added fuel to the fire by seemingly alluding to how difficult it was for her to create the podcast from an open and transparent perspective.
“This hasn’t been easy, my truth, my side, MY STORY,” she wrote. “But I’m ready for the smoke! TONIGHT at 8pm EST on @REVOLTTV #CareshaPlease.”
In an interview with PEOPLEYung Miami detailed her decision to return to REVOLT following Diddy’s departure from the company, as well as her decision to address the pair’s relationship on her podcast.
“I felt like REVOLT had to go through that too,” she said. “I considered leaving, but ultimately it’s a Black-owned media company and I’ve built a relationship with them – it just felt comfortable and I just felt safe.”
“I want to be able to answer any questions people have. I’m ready to answer anything, tell my story, tell my truth, reveal my feelings and tell what I’ve been through.”
The podcast marks the first time Yung Miami has publicly and extensively addressed her connection to Diddy since his mansions were raided in March. Despite her silence, the Floridian native has been linked to several unsavory allegations due to numerous lawsuits that have mentioned Diddy.
In addition to being accused of receiving $250,000 a month, Yung Miami is named in legal documents accusing her of agreeing to transport a drug known as “Pink Cocaine” on Diddy’s private jet from Miami to Virginia.
Although Yung Miami’s team has since indicated that they have evidence to refute the allegations, she has remained fairly tight-lipped about her relationship with Diddy.
Diddy and Yung Miami were first romantically linked in the summer of 2021. Rumors of their relationship began to circulate after they were spotted together at various events and on vacation. In June 2022, Yung Miami confirmed their relationship in an episode of her podcast Caresha, please in which Diddy appeared as a guest.
The two described their relationship as casual and fun. Diddy explained that they are together and having fun, but also stressed that they are both single and free to date others.
