Fans criticize Luis “Louie” Ruelas for encouraging his wife Teresa Giudice’s daughters to wear thongs and short skirts.
Ruelas made the questionable comments on the latest episode of his and Giudice’s podcast, “Turning the Tables,” during a conversation about their blended families.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 52, and her ex-husband Joe Giudice share Gia Giudice, 23, Gabriella Giudice, 19, Milania Giudice, 18, and Audriana Giudice, 14.
Louie, 49, is the father of sons Nicholas Ruelas, 23, and Louie Ruelas Jr., 20, from his marriage to Marisa Dimartino Ruelas.
During his conversation with Teresa, Louie stressed the importance of living one’s youth to the fullest, admitting that he told their daughters, “Try everything! You know, nothing bad or anything. But I say go to the club and dance, put on a thong, put on a short skirt, show off your legs a little bit.”
Because they are “the most decent girls he has ever met,” the businessman wants them to “take a risk.”
“We were in Greece last year,” he explained to Teresa. “Do you know what I told your daughters? ‘Wear a thong. Do it now! Do it now because I didn’t do it when I was young. Do it now. Experience it now.'”
Louie added that when the girls finally “came out in their thongs,” his reaction was, “You look fucking amazing!”
Teresa, on the other hand, seemed to agree with her husband’s comments. “Yes!” she exclaimed, nodding and saying that she felt like she, too, had missed her more carefree years.
However, his fans were not so happy with Louie’s “completely inappropriate” attitude and one Instagram user called him the “ultimate creep”.
“Scary alert 🤮,” repeated someone else, followed by “Too scary, this is really going too far.”
“This is TERRIBLE!” commented another critic, while someone else wondered, “Why is this conversation even happening? Sick, sick, sick…”
Internet users were not only outraged at Louie, many also attacked Teresa for encouraging this behavior.
“They’re both disgusting 🤮,” wrote one dissenter, while another asked, “What mother would agree with what he says?”
“And she’s like: Yes, yes!! I don’t know what’s worse (sic)! 😡,” wrote another, followed by, “What the hell is wrong with the man who says that and the mom is so happy and excited, shaking my head 🤦🏽♀️.”
Others wondered “what Joe Guidice (sic) thinks about this.”
