Every year, many mythical creatures are sighted in the United States, making skeptics smile and believers sit up and take notice. A wolf-like creature is said to lurk in the mountains of western Montana, worshiping dogs and rooted in Native American spirituality.
A Mormon hunter in Montana is said to have shot one of these hunters in 1886, and at some point the animal’s carcass found its way into the Idaho Museum of Natural History in Pocatello, the website says.
