Franchises like A quiet place And Foreigner have given the box office a healthy dose of confidence, while terrible original stories like Long-legged have been getting a lot of scream-worthy attention. While the sun-drenched season is almost over, the terrifying horrors are ending the summer later this month with a brutal bang with Strange darling. The serial killer horror thriller with genre veterans Kyle Gallner and Willa Fitzgeraldhas received a lot of praise from critics over the past year. Exclusively presented by Rotten Tomatoes, The 70-second trailer showcases director JT Mollner’s colorful yet uncomfortable visual style and the juicy awards the film has received.. This includes the horror legend Stephen Kingwho called the film a “smart masterpiece.” The common thread in all the praise is the preferences of Gallner and Fitzgerald, who want to start a hunt for eternity. The film is about a young woman (Fitzgerald) and a man (Gallner) when their one-night stand goes terribly wrong. The problem is that Gallner’s character turns out to be a world-famous serial killer. Thus begins this twisted game of cat and mouse. Judging by the trailer, this killer spares no expense to torment his latest target. This mysterious figure is being marketed as a “dramatization” of a real 21st century serial killer. A pair of modern horror gems
Again, Gallner and Fitzgerald are the main argument for this deadly chase. Any way you look at it, Gallner and Fitzgerald are going to make a killer duo. This only gives even more confidence that Strange darling will be another outstanding genre film in a year in which horror has already restored its dominance.
