COLUMBIA, Missouri – Junior Striker at the University of Missouri Soccer Kylee Simmons was ranked 34th in Top Drawer Soccer’s college player rankings, the media organization announced Tuesday.
Simmons and the Tigers begin the 2024 season on Thursday at 7 p.m. against Missouri State at Walton Stadium.
Simmons, who was named to the 2023 All-SEC First Team, had a stellar sophomore season in which she led the conference with 11 goals and ranked second in the SEC with 24 points. In addition, the West Chester, Ohio, native put 29 of her 46 shots on goal and ranked 18th in the country in shooting accuracy (.630).
The placement is the latest honor in the illustrious career of the forward, who was previously named SEC Offensive Player of the Week, United Soccer Coaches Player of the Week and was named to Top Drawer’s Women’s Team of the Week.
Off the field, Simmons earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll in fall 2023.
