The New Hampshire team was selected to represent the region after defeating opponents from Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine in the New England Region Tournament last week.
The LLWS, which brings together teams of 10- to 12-year-olds from around the country and the world, begins Wednesday in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

What is the Little League World Series?
The Little League World Series is an annual baseball tournament that brings together teams of 10- to 12-year-olds from around the world.
There are ten teams from the USA, representing different regions of the country, and ten international teams representing other parts of the world.
The tournament is played in a double elimination format, meaning teams are only eliminated if they lose two games.
The U.S. and international teams play in separate groups. One U.S. and one international team play against each other in the final.
When does the New Hampshire baseball team play in the Little League World Series?
The Salem, New Hampshire Little League team representing the New England region in the Little League World Series will play its first game on Wednesday, August 14, at 3:00 p.m. EST.
New England will face the team representing the West Region, which this year hails from Wailuku, Hawaii.
If New England wins its game on Wednesday, it will play the Great Lakes team again on Friday, August 16th at 3:00 p.m. EST. If New England loses on Wednesday, it will play in an elimination game on Saturday, August 17th.
