Lake Mary Little League wins regional championship
After winning the regional championship, the Lake Mary Little League All-Star team returned home Wednesday afternoon to a warm welcome at the Lake Mary Sports Complex.

The 2024 Little League World Series is underway and Florida is participating in the world-famous tournament.
The Lake Mary Little League All-Stars won the Southeast Regional Tournament and advanced to Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They are one of 20 teams from around the world competing in the double-elimination baseball tournament. Play began on Wednesday, August 14th and will culminate in the finals on Sunday, August 25th.
Lake Mary is the 24th team from Florida to make it to the LLWS and the fourth from Central Florida. No Florida team has won the championship. Here’s a look at the 2024 LLWS standings and the schedule Lake Mary must follow to win it all.

Florida Little League World Series Schedule
The Lake Mary Little League opened the 2024 Little League World Series on Wednesday, August 14, with a 2-1 victory over Sioux Falls, South Dakota. JJ Feliciano pitched 5⅔ innings with 11 strikeouts.
Next up for Lake Mary is the team from Puyallup, Washington, which will play its first game of the tournament. The winner will play Monday at 7 p.m., while the loser will play an elimination game Sunday at 1 p.m.
