Taylor Swift’s best friend Abigail Anderson Berard’s “Wildest Dreams” have come true.
The pop star’s high school girlfriend announced on Friday that she had given birth to her and husband Charles Berard’s first child.
“Little boy decided to come to us a few weeks earlier than expected,” Abigail wrote on Instagram. “Our hearts are exploding with love. Welcome to the world Bennett, it’s all yours. 💙”
The 34-year-old did not show the infant’s face, but instead shared a black-and-white photo of her finger in his hand.
While Swift, also 34, has not yet commented on Abigail’s social media upload, the singer’s friends have sent their congratulations.
“Welcome, Bennett!!!!” Gigi Hadid enthused. “Good job, mom :)💞”
Lily Aldridge, for her part, wrote: “Sending so much love and well wishes ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Abigail showcased her baby bump last month, using a line from Swift’s “But Daddy I Love Him” to share her pregnancy news with her social media followers.
“I’m having his baby… 💙,” she captioned a July photo of herself eating from a package of Cheez-It.
Swift commented, “When the internet says ‘MOTHER,’ I feel like that’s what this picture actually means.”
Social media users joked at the time that the songwriter’s hands must have been “sore from all the knitting.”
Abigail and Charles married in September 2022.
It’s unclear whether Swift was present at the wedding – although she was present at Abigail’s first wedding to photographer Matt Lucier in 2017.
In fact, the Grammy winner was a bridesmaid at the ceremony in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. The former couple separated four years later.
Meanwhile, Swift has been dating NFL star Travis Kelce since last year.
