“THE SECRET Lives of Mormon Wives” is off to a hot start as it will feature Ben Affleck’s cousin Zac and his wife Jen.
The two are known for being involved in a “swinger sex scandal” that rocked the community of influential Mormon mothers.
Last month, Hulu announced the launch of a new series called “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” featuring eight influential Mormon mothers.
A special mother is Jen Affleck, Zac’s wife and second cousin of A-list celebrity Ben Affleck.
Zac’s father is the first cousin of the actor and his brother Casey.
In a statement obtained by People, Jen said she is “excited to talk about the things that happened in my relationship,” referring to the swinger sex scandal that occurred after the show was filmed.

“It feels like we got ten years of marriage counseling in this one season of filming.”
The premiere of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is scheduled for September 6.
According to the show’s official synopsis, the series follows the “scandalous world of a group of influential Mormon mothers that implodes when they become embroiled in a swinger sex scandal that makes international headlines.”
“Now their sisterhood is shaken to its core. Trust, friendship and reputation are at stake.”
In addition to Jen, the series will also star Layla Taylor, Demi Engemann, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mikayla Matthews, Whitney Leavitt and Taylor Frankie Paul.
Jen and the girls rose to fame on TikTok after documenting their lives as Mormon wives and mothers, giving rise to the hashtag MomTok.
Jen has two children, Nora and Lucas Lowell, whom she has with Zac.
She and Zac got engaged on January 1, 2019 in New York City, where Ben’s cousin proposed to her at the Top of the Rock attraction.
Later that year, the couple married on June 28 in Newport Beach, California.
While the two appear to have an even-tempered relationship on social media, the Hulu trailer shows tension between the young couple.
During the teaser, Zac expresses his disapproval of Jen’s MomTok friends.
However, Jen stressed that their friendship and career were important, to which Zac replied: “Being divorced and taking care of two children is going to be pretty tough, so you make the decision.”
Sex scandal
The scandal began in 2022 after MomTok frontrunner Taylor Frankie Paul announced her divorce from ex-husband Tate Paul.
During a TikTok livestream, Taylor told her followers that the divorce was sparked by his involvement in “soft swinging” in the MomTok community.

According to the TikTok star, Taylor shared that she and Tate agreed that they would “not go all the way” with the other members.
“The whole group was intimate with each other,” she revealed in a live stream.
“Tate was messing around with several girls and other things, and I was messing around with all the husbands and vice versa.”
However, she admitted that she had “withdrawn from this agreement”.
Two months after the news went viral, Taylor revealed that the man she “cheated” with was her new boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
In a statement to People about the show’s success, Taylor said she wanted viewers to “better understand who I am.”
“I want to be vulnerable and show people that there is hope when you’re at rock bottom.”
