HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) – Alright folks, it’s Friday and the end of the work week. Welcome to the start of a perfect weekend.
Headlines:
– Lots of sunshine this weekend
– A few days of autumnal weather, but…
– …don’t get used to it.
DISCUSSION:
After a week of heat and humidity with highs in the 30s and heat indexes in some places, we can say goodbye to the heat for a few days as a front moves through that will do a few things. First, it will shift the winds from the north and northwest. This will bring cooler temperatures with highs between 25 and 27 degrees and keep dew points fairly comfortable through the weekend and into the first half of the work week.
OUTLOOK:
For the coming week, temperatures are expected to remain at or below normal for a few days until we reach highs above 25 degrees again towards the end of next week. There is a chance of rain on Thursday and Friday, albeit slight. For Friday, the chance is currently slightly higher, but still slight. We will keep an eye on that over the next few days.
Enjoy the rest of the evening!
