Dramatic footage has emerged showing Travis Scott being dragged in handcuffs from a five-star Paris hotel after being arrested for an altercation with his bodyguard.
The video begins with the 33-year-old “Sicko Mode” rapper being dragged through the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel George V by three male police officers and then aggressively led into a waiting police car with his hands handcuffed behind his back.
Scott doesn’t say a word to the hecklers and paparazzi who want to ask him what happened while the police push him into the back seat of the car and buckle him in.
The video ends with the “Highest in the Room” artist getting into a van without handcuffs.
As Page Six exclusively reported Friday morning, Scott yelled at his security guard at the famous hotel.
The dispute ended after a dispute arose over local paparazzi – a photographer had allegedly climbed into the trunk of his car.
Scott then allegedly confronted his security guard and asked why he had let the photographer into the trunk, which led to an argument.
“They were yelling at each other and the hotel freaked out and called the police,” the insider said of the incident.
The Paris prosecutor’s office said in a statement to NBC: “I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V hotel and arrested the rapper nicknamed Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard.”
The statement continued: “The security guard intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard. The Paris public prosecutor’s office has referred the case to the 1st district of the criminal police.”
Scott had stayed at the George V during his visit to the Olympic Games in Paris.
“We are in direct contact with local Paris authorities to quickly resolve this matter and will provide updates as needed,” a spokesperson for Scott told Page Six.
