The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has invited online applications for Group A and B (Official Probation Officer) posts from March 4 to April 3, 2024. The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) conducts the Karnataka Administrative Services Examination to recruit candidates for various administrative positions within the State Government of Karnataka.
The Commission has set a target to fill 384 vacancies, of which 159 are for Group A and 225 are for Group B. After receiving the online applications, the Authority will conduct the written examination. The preliminary examination will be conducted on August 25, 2024. Candidates can download the KAS Admit Cards 2024 at least one week before the examination date.
The Commission has released the admit card on the official website. Candidates have to visit the website and download their admit card for the exam.

Selection procedure for GPs of KAS groups A and B
The selection process for KPSC KAS 2024 includes various stages like Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview which are listed below:
- Preliminary examination: This examination consists of two objective examination papers. Candidates who pass the preliminary examination are qualified for the next recruitment stage.
- Main exam: Candidates Those who pass the preliminary exam will be invited to the main exam. It is a written exam consisting of 9 papers. They are essays/descriptions. All candidates who pass the main exam are eligible to appear in the interview.
- Interview: The interview is a qualifying round and the leaderboard will be published after the interview. The points for the interview will be awarded out of 200 points.
KAS Preliminary Examination Plan
