Little Big Town released their first career-spanning Biggest hits Album today (8/9) via Capitol Records Nashville.
The release marks the 25th anniversary of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook as the band Little Big Town.
Karen said of the album: “This Biggest hits The album is a reflection on some of the songs that have meant the most to us throughout the band’s incredible journey. The last 25 years have been an absolute whirlwind and we are so grateful that our fans have been with us on this journey – this album is truly a love letter to them.”
Most notably, the group enlisted longtime friend Miranda Lambert for a duet on 2010’s platinum hit “Little White Church.” It retains all the magic of the original while giving Lambert the freedom to put her own unique spin on the track. It proudly maintains a tradition of collaboration with Little Big Town that stretches back to 2014’s “Smokin’ and Drinkin’.”
The record also features a handful of very special collaborations – including “Shut Up Train” feat. Kelsea Ballerini – that connect the band’s past, present and future.
Biggest hits brings together over two decades of country chart hits in one definitive work, from the Grammy-winning songs “Pontoon,” “Boondocks,” and “Better Man” to hugely influential anthems like “Girl Crush.”
