She has found her “one and only”.
Adele has finally confirmed that she and Rich Paul are engaged after three years of dating.
The “Hello” singer announced the exciting news during her concert in Munich on Thursday after a fan jokingly proposed to her.
“I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married and therefore can’t,” she said, holding up her left hand to indicate engagement.
Although she wasn’t wearing a ring, the British singer was seen wearing a massive pear-shaped diamond. The Finger when she was in her home country last month.
However, the couple first sparked long-standing engagement rumors when the singer showed up at her Las Vegas residence in February 2022 wearing a diamond ring estimated to be worth over $1 million.
36-year-old Adele and the 42-year-old sports agent have been in a relationship since summer 2021.
They were first spotted together at Game 5 of the NBA Finals in July 2021. Days later, Page Six exclusively confirmed that they are a couple.
They then made several public appearances together before making their love official on Instagram. Adele shared a snap of them together with a red heart emoji in September 2021.
The singer also stated in 2022 that she has plans to marry Paul and is even ready to have another baby.
“It’s 100 percent going to happen this year. It has to happen this year because I have plans for next year,” Adele said on “The Graham Norton Show” before her performance in Las Vegas. “Imagine if I had to cancel because I’m having a baby?”
But their relationship hit a rocky patch last February when Page Six reported that Adele and Rich had a falling out. Their volatile relationship was apparently one of the reasons she postponed her residency.
“Adele is very emotional and dramatic. He’s an NBA guy who has to travel – they’re very different – and they’re going through a difficult time,” a source told us at the time.
Sources also told us at the time that Adele was constantly crying and screaming on the phone with Paul during rehearsals.
And last May, things seemed to be on the verge of collapse when Page Six exclusively reported that Paul was spotted celebrating Adele’s 34th birthday with his client LeBron James in Miami.
But in August of this year, things seemed to be going well between the duo when Adele bought a $58 million love nest in Beverly Hills for herself and Paul.
That same month, rumors emerged that Paul had proposed to her, but Adele denied that they were engaged.
Adele and Paul began their relationship shortly after she finalized her divorce from Simon Konecki, with whom she has 10-year-old son Angelo.
Adele described the pain of her divorce to her son in a heartbreaking voice message included on her album “30,” released in November 2021.
Representatives for Adele and Paul did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
