Lara Spencer seems to be having a great summer while spending time with her family in Nantucket, Massachusetts. When she shared the special moments with her followers on Instagram, they said the same thing.
The Good morning America The presenter shared photos of herself with her daughter Katharine and son Duff as they hit the beach in Nantucket, with the family all smiles as they enjoyed their time together. She captioned the photo: “Look who the wind blew in picture two.”
The three stood together in the sun and their fans couldn’t help but comment on how similar the three looked – because their children were their spitting image. Duff towered over them, but had the same eyes and smile as his mother. Katharine, on the other hand, had clearly inherited her mother’s blonde hair and eyes.
“I see the great resemblance between you and your children in this picture,” wrote one fan.
Another fan echoed this sentiment, adding: “Beautiful! Definitely family resemblance!”
One person particularly noticed the resemblance between Lara and Katharine and said: “You and your daughter look like sisters,” thereby praising the GMA presenter’s youthful charisma.
A fourth fan added: “They’re all grown up! Beautiful family.”
In fact, Katharine and Duff are already adults, having both gone to college. Katharine just finished her freshman year at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, where she is also a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity.
Before the 20-year-old started at Tennessee Institute, Lara shared a photo of herself playing lacrosse with her future teammates. She captioned the photo, “So much fun watching my daughter play with her future Vanderbilt teammates taking on Clemson in the Lake Placid tournament. I can’t believe she’s going to college in 2 weeks.”
Meanwhile, Duff, 22, is studying at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. The mother of two certainly missed her son as he headed to the Texas institute, as she shared a photo of the dog “waiting at the door for Duff to come home from college for the weekend,” adding that she was waiting, too.
Lara made it clear that she finds empty nest life difficult when she responded to Ali Wentworth’s own admissions that she was not ready to drop her daughter off at college.
The Good Morning America veteran responded, “I hear you, sister. I’m standing at the airport with a huge lump in my throat. I don’t want to leave. It’s going to feel too real. The house is going to be too quiet. The music is not going to be loud. Your room is going to be neat. My clothes are not going to be missing. I don’t like this at all.”
