Offutt Air Force Base, NE — The United States Air Force Thunderbirds will honor Marine Corporal Daegan Page as a fallen warrior at the Defenders of Freedom Air & Space Show. The Thunderbirds will dedicate their performance on Sunday, August 25, to the memory of Cpl. Page, who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to his country.
Cpl. Page, a native of Omaha, Nebraska, served with honor and distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was one of the 13 soldiers who tragically lost their lives during the evacuation mission in Kabul, Afghanistan in August 2021. His bravery and selflessness are a testament to the courage and dedication of all who serve.
The 55th Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base is deeply honored that the Thunderbirds have accepted their nomination of Cpl. Page as a Defenders of Freedom Air & Space Show Fallen Warrior. This honor reflects the community’s respect and admiration for Cpl. Page and his family.
Following the Thunderbirds flight demonstration on Sunday, August 25, a private ceremony will be held in honor of Cpl. Page. This ceremony will be attended by his family and close friends and will provide a moment of reflection and remembrance of the life and legacy of a true American hero.
