Black Myth Wukong was released a few hours ago for PC and PS5. If you look at the statistics on SteamDB, you will see that this title is extremely popular on Valve’s platform – currently over 2,000,000 people are spending time on the title at the same time. This makes the game the most popular production at the moment and the second most popular in history. It’s no surprise that many players want to test it out. Learn more about Steam Family Sharing in this guide.
Steam Family Sharing in Black Myth Wukong Explained
In March, Valve launched beta testing for the replacement of two features – Steam Family Sharing and Steam Family View. This feature is called Steam Families. It works very simply: Users create their own family and invite up to 5 members. Everyone in this group has access to shareable games purchased by any of the members.
So if you’re part of the family, you can play anything that appears in your library (unless family members use all available licenses for that particular title). How do I activate Steam Family?
- First, go to Settings > User Interface to enable the Steam Families beta.
- Next, you can go to Settings > Family to manage your own family.
The Steam Families feature works with Black Myth Wukong. If someone in your group has purchased the game, you can play this title without any problem.
Some players reported that this title is not displayed in their libraries. In this case, you must be patient and Restart Steam a few times. If you have multiple copies of the same game, you can go to the game’s page in your library and Change your preferred copy. Steam is also being updated.
Additionally, if the game owner marks it as private or the game does not support your operating system, it will not appear in your library. For more information, see the Steam Families FAQ.
