Baena, the son of Arnold Schwarzeneggerspoke with We weekly at the premiere of his new film gunnerin which the main role is played Luke Hemsworth And Morgan Freeman.
The film, which was released on August 16, is an action thriller that follows war veteran Lee Gunner (Hemsworth) as he tries to save his sons from a violent drug gang. Baena, 26, plays Deputy Wally Harper.
At the premiere, Baena talked about the possibility of one day appearing in a reality show about real estate, à la Sell sunset. He is open to the idea as long as the editing is fair.

“I always thought that something like a reality show could take me away from my film career,” Baena said. “But honestly, if it’s something that puts me in a good mood, something that’s not so dramatic that I look like a weirdo or a jerk, you know? Then I’m absolutely open to it.”

Courtesy of Joseph Baena/InstagramBaena received his real estate license in 2021 and announced in May that he was transitioning from bodybuilding to real estate sales. He described himself as “not your average real estate agent.” He sold his first home in March 2022 in Santa Monica, California.
“Real estate is something I love doing and something I love working in,” Baena continued. “I also work really hard at it. And that’s why it would be great to do a TV show. You know, why not?”
Gunner is Baena’s seventh acting gig, and he has four more projects in the works. In November, he will appear alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. in the holiday thriller Athena saves Christmas.
Whether Baena continues to work as an actor, invests fully in the real estate industry or takes his first steps in reality TV, his father will support him, he says.
“He just tells me to do the reps, do the drills and take the classes,” he said. “That’s what I’ve been doing and we’re working our way up.”
It also helps with acting to work with two A-list stars like Freeman and Hemsworth.
“It’s a huge honor,” Baena said. “I mean, Morgan Freeman … is an incredible actor, has so many awards, and working with Luke Hemsworth was amazing. Just to be in a movie with those two is a big deal. It’s a big step forward in my career. And you know, these are guys I’ve been watching since I was a kid, especially Morgan Freeman.”
