90 Day Fiancé has introduced fans to several love stories since it first aired in 2014. Surprisingly, all of the couples in season 1 are still happily married. Another piece of good news is that many of these couples have proven the strength of their marriages by starting a family.
So it was a shock for 90 Day Fiancé Fans when season 9’s Miona Bell and Jibri Bell split after less than three years of marriage. When seen on the show, the Serbian makeup artist and the South Dakota-based singer seemed like the perfect couple; they even wore the same outfits. Although they didn’t agree on where to settle down, they eventually got married in November 2021 in a small but beautiful ceremony in Joshua Tree National Park. Unfortunately, their union didn’t last and it seemed that Miona and Jibri had different goals in life.

In late 2023, fans noticed that Miona Bell and Jibri Bell stopped sharing photos of each other on Instagram. Instead, Jibri started posting photos from his long stay in Thailand, while Miona continued to post videos and photos from her hair extension business.
It was only in March that Jibri announced that he and Miona had broken up. On Instagram, Jibri shared a video of a rap performance along with a long caption detailing their breakup. In his rap, he said: Jibri took responsibility for the separationand explained that he had to leave the marriage to find himself.
“I didn’t mean to hurt you, but I thought there was no way to resolve this.”
Jibri revealed that there had been problems within the family and the couple had experienced trauma and tragedy that had damaged their marriage. The artist also blamed participation in a reality TV show for the end of their relationship.
“It didn’t help that we were showcasing our businesses on a reality show, and it was fun. We had a great run, but damn, girl, I really thought you were the one.”
Jibri also raps about Miona’s new love interest and wishes him well with his ex. Although it seems like Jibri means well, he still makes fun of Miona, especially her personality.
“I hope for his sake that you don’t give him hell. Controlling, passive aggressiveness turns men off. You’re smart and beautiful, so I know you’ll be fine. But eventually that external beauty always fades.”
In his caption, Jibri elaborated on why he broke up with Miona. Jibri took the blame for their falling out and revealed that he found it difficult to be in a committed relationship. “A long-term relationship makes me feel uncomfortable and trapped. …maybe I’m immature…or maybe I just haven’t found the right one yet.”
In the comments section of his post, he wrote: “…no negativity towards Miona, I love her.”
