Guests at D23: Ultimate Disney Fan Event will get a first look at the ride and more at the Avengers King Thanos Multiverse attraction opening soon at Disney California Adventure.
The E-Ticket ride was announced at D23 in 2022 and confirmed to be a multiverse ride focused on a world where Thanos won. It’s been two years since news of the attraction emerged, leaving many to wonder if it was still coming.
A statue of King Thanos is on display, with a model of the ride next to him. King Thanos is a version of Thanos who won, unlike in the events of Avengers: Endgame. It was announced that King Thanos is a villain designed specifically for the Avengers Campus.
A video of the ride is played on a screen. The style of the vehicle reminds us of the new Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure in Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea.
When the Avengers attraction was originally announced, it was stated, “The new attraction will feature an all-new story that will send guests into battle alongside their favorite Super Heroes.” More information was released, stating that it will be an “epic family adventure” where you’ll team up with the Avengers and their allies “to battle enemies in a multi-world experience.”
Inside the ride we can see three rows of seats, each one sitting higher than the one in front of it. The paintwork is mainly white, with red and blue accents, which reminds us of Captain America’s shield.
While the ride in Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is sent through time, this one is designed to “jump between worlds and even realities – on planet Earth and beyond.”
No opening date for the attraction has been announced yet, but stay tuned for our coverage throughout the weekend as more information becomes available.
