Allison Holker, the widow of Stephen ‘tWitch’s’ boss, is open to dating
Show story
In June, Allison told People magazine that she was open to dating again.
At the time, she said, “I’m just trying to embrace (growth) and see what my next steps are in (my) career, (my) decisions and dating.”
The star continued, “I think I’m a person that always says the quote, ‘Romanticize your life.’ And I think even though I’ve been through so much, I still believe in living a big life. There hasn’t been a moment where I haven’t thought to myself, ‘I still want to live a big life. I still want to have love, I still want to travel the world. I still want to see and experience new things with new people, new energy, my friends, my family, a loved one – a potential one – and my children.'”
In February, Holker also spoke about her journey through grief in an essay for Glamour.
She said: “I wish I could give people a manual on how to get through what I experienced, but I have no idea. The only thing I can do is just show up and figure it out as I go along, because that’s all I can do. That’s the only thing I have control over.”
Allison, mother of Weslie (16), Maddox (8) and Zaia (4), wrote that thanks to her children she was able to “rediscover joy and show her feelings more easily,” adding: “It’s so nice to be vulnerable, even in public.”
She also thinks it’s important to show that you’re on the road to recovery. She explains: “This is the first time I’ve really experienced grief and I’ve had to learn that you can still live – and enjoy – life.”
Holker said: “I don’t have to hide the fact that it was hard, but we are doing well. We are carrying on. And there is still so much to live for and so much to experience. I am doing it.” Was to do it.”
