Dalvin Cook joins the Dallas Cowboys as a member of the practice squad and we now know what number he will wear for Big D.
Cook signed with the Cowboys this week and immediately made a reference to the No. 4 jersey he wore at Florida State.

The four-time Pro Bowler began his career wearing No. 33 with the Minnesota Vikings before switching back to No. 4 when the NFL changed its jersey number rules. However, he returned to No. 33 with the New York Jets and No. 31 with the Baltimore Ravens.
So what number will he wear in Dallas?

We now have our answer and it’s a number that became available this offseason when Tony Pollard signed as a free agent with the Tennessee Titans.
That’s right, Dalvin Cook will wear number 20 for the Cowboys.
Now that we have the answer to that question, it’s time to ask ourselves if we will ever see number 20 on the field during a matchday this season.
The Cowboys can add Cook to the 53-man roster three times during the season before they have to make his move to the 53-man roster permanent or release him.
One must assume that he will be called at least once in 2024.
