Bought it last month and started using it (partially) last week.
There were a few times while watching YouTube that the audio would STUTTER so badly that I couldn’t finish watching the video.
This happens in both Firefox and Chrome – both are up to date.
I tried the obvious, like restarting Firefox or rebooting my Mac.
No luck.
This also happened after I downloaded the video from YouTube and tried to watch it that way. The problem occurs in Preview, QuickTime and VLC.
Apparently many people on the Internet have similar problems, but I don’t see a solution to the problem.
I pray this is just an annoying hardware driver or software issue and not a problem with me owning a $7,000 brick?!
Questions:
1.) Does anyone know this problem?
2.) If so, WHAT is causing this problem?
3.) And most importantly: HOW do I fix the problem?
To be clear, this issue does NOT always occur. And what’s even weirder is that it seems to occur with CERTAIN YouTube videos – even though said problematic videos played correctly when I went back the next day.
So it is NOT a problem with the source, but a problem with my brand new MBP…
