Adam Page has been absent from AEW television since his loss at AEW Revolution and fans were wondering when he would return. They got the answer when he returned on July 3 at AEW Dynamite and the reason for Page’s extended television hiatus was revealed.
Adam Page defeated Jeff Jarrett to advance to the semifinals of the Owen Hart Cup tournament, but ultimately lost. Since then, Page has been a regular on AEW television.
According to Fightful Select, it was reported that Adam Page took some time off because his wife is pregnant with their second child. Page had a detailed paternity leave clause included in his AEW contract to allow for this break. Swerve Strickland mentioned this during an episode of AEW Dynamite.
Adam Page and Swerve Strickland are expected to continue their feud at All Out, where they will face off in a Steel Cage Match to settle their rivalry. As such, there is a lot of hype surrounding the match, as many fans feel that their feud was one of the best in recent memory.
