Marvel Studios has released its first official look at the upcoming Thunderbolts film and Disney+ show Daredevil: Born Again after footage from both projects leaked online at Comic-Con and D23.
Below is a new video celebrating 85 years of Marvel, featuring a look at Thunderbolts and Daredevil: Born Again, as well as another look at Red Hulk from the upcoming Captain America movie.
In the Thunderbolts clip we see Florence Pugh as former Black Widow assassin Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost and David Harbour as Red Guardian.
Thunderbolts* was announced in June 2022 and revolves around a group of anti-heroes sent on missions for the U.S. government. It is the final film in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reaches Cinemas May 2, 2025.
The Daredevil clip shows Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) officially in costume for the first time. Daredevil: Born Again’s first season includes 18 episodes. Vincent D’Onofrio, who reprises his role as Kingpin in the series, revealed in an interview with Newsweek in March 2023 that a second season was already planned.
There are further references to Riri Williams in her suit for the Ironheart show, which is due out sometime next year, and the aforementioned Red Hulk, who Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus Ross transforms into in Captain America: Brave New World.
After a series of flops in recent years, the MCU had a huge success with Deadpool & Wolverine, which grossed over $1 billion at the box office. Here is a list of all upcoming new Marvel movies along with their release dates for Phase 5 and 6.
