New Jurassic World movie reveals title and first photos

The new Jurassic World The film from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment received an official title on Thursday morning along with a few first photos.

The film is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 and is titled Jurassic World – Rebirth. Look at the photos of the tent pole above and below.

With Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali, Jurassic World – Rebirth sees an intrepid team attempting to secure DNA samples from the three most colossal creatures on land, sea and air. Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominationthe planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. The remaining dinosaurs live in isolated equatorial environments with climates similar to those in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures of this tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humanity.

Johansson plays Zora Bennett, a seasoned covert operations expert who is assigned to lead a team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world’s three largest dinosaurs. When Zora’s operation clashes with a civilian family whose boat expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic dinos, they all become stranded on an island where they face a sinister, shocking discovery hidden from the world for decades.

Bailey plays paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis, while Ali Zora’s most trusted team leader is Duncan Kincaid. Also starring are Rupert Friend as pharmaceutical industry representative Martin Krebs and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Reuben Delgado, the father of the shipwrecked civilian family.

Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) directs from a screenplay by Original Jurassic Park Written by David Koepp, based on the characters created by Michael Crichton. Also starring Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain and Ed Skrein.

The film is produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, two longtime veterans of the franchise. Steven Spielberg, Denis L. Stewart and Jim Spencer serve as executive producers.
