Looks like Lana Del Rey might say goodbye to her “Summertime Sadness.”
The Grammy nominee sparked speculation of a romance with Louisiana-based alligator guide Jeremy Dufrene in August 2024.
The duo met in March 2019.
This year, Del Rey made headlines for dating Oklahoma police officer Sean Larkin before being linked to several musicians, from country singer Clayton Johnson to Jack Donoghue.
Her rep did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Dufrene.

What is his job?
Dufrene works at Airboat Tours by Arthur in Des Allemands, Louisiana, where he explores Bayou des Allemands, known as the “Catfish Capital of the World.”
Through his work he has met many A-list celebrities and has given tours for Glen Powell, Emma Roberts and Kate Hudson.
It is unclear exactly how long Dufrene has been with the company, but his employment dates back to at least 2015.
Does he have children?
Dufrene appears to have children from a previous relationship.
The airboat captain, whose Instagram account is private, has shared glimpses of his daughters on social media (according to the Daily Mail).
Del Rey, for her part, has no children, but told the Sunday Times in December 2023 that she sees parenthood “coming up.”
How did he meet Del Rey?
Del Rey took part in one of Dufrene’s tours in March 2019 when she performed at the BUKU Music + Art Project Festival in Louisiana.
Dufrene posted a picture with the artist on Instagram and gushed: “I never know who I might meet on my tours but it’s always a pleasure @lanadelrey.”
She also shared snaps from the trip and wrote on Facebook: “Jeremy let me be captain of Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.”
Since then, the two have been following each other on social media.
Why do fans think they are a couple?
Del Rey has apparently reunited with Dufrene for another tour in May 2024.
“Family with my boyfriend @jeremy.dufrene,” she wrote at the time under an Instagram photo with two of her friends.
Three months later, she and Dufrene were spotted holding hands in London in a TikTok video, and the Daily Mail reported that they visited Harrod’s and a pub.
