NEET PG Scorecard 2024: The National Board of Examination for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the scorecards for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 tomorrow. The scorecards will be available on the official NBEMS websites natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in on August 30.
The NEET PG exam was held on Sunday, August 11, in two shifts. The first shift was scheduled from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second shift was scheduled from 3:30 pm to 7 pm. The NEET PG results were already declared on August 23.
NEET PG Scorecard 2024: Release Date and Instructions
According to the official announcement, the NBEMS will release the NEET PG scorecards on August 30. Once the scorecard links are activated on the official website, candidates will be able to download their results. To access the scorecards, candidates need to visit the NBEMS website, find the result link on the homepage and enter their login details. After logging in, the scorecard will be displayed on the screen and candidates should download and save it for future use. They are also advised to carefully check all the information on the scorecard including personal details, name, registration number and date of birth.
During the first shift, 107,959 of the 114,276 registered candidates appeared for the exam, 6,317 were absent. In the second shift, 108,177 of the 114,264 registered candidates appeared for the exam, 6,087 were absent.
To qualify for admission to MD, MS, DNB or Diploma courses under NEET PG 2024, candidates need to score certain cut-off percentiles depending on their category. For General and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category candidates, the minimum score is 50th percentile. General-PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) category candidates need to score at least 45th percentile. For SC, ST and OBC categories, including PwBD candidates, the cut-off is 40th percentile. These cut-off scores are crucial for eligibility for admission to postgraduate medical courses.
