An opportunity to join Shogun Audio, one of the most established label groups in the Drum & Bass world. Our brands Shogun Audio, Elevate Records, Temple Publishing and EST Studios are world leaders in their respective fields and we are looking for a full-time Social Media Executive to join our growing team.
With names such as Friction, DJ Marky, Pola & Bryson, Fatboy Slim, Moby, Skream, Alix Perez, Noisia, Dimension, Sigma, Roni Size, Calibre, Monrroe, Macky Gee and many more in its current and past catalogue, Shogun Audio is now a multifaceted company with functions including digital and physical recorded music distribution, event management, merchandise and apparel design, e-commerce, creative tools provision and development, marketing, broadcasting and music publishing.
The Social Media Executive will work with the label and marketing teams to manage and develop the social media channels for Shogun Audio Group brands and our artist roster.
THE ROLE
- Develop and implement social media strategies and campaign plans across all brand and artist channels.
- Take responsibility for daily social media planning and scheduling across all channels.
- Responsible for daily posting of all social media channels
- Manage campaign/social assets with content teams and ensure on-time delivery.
- Building positive relationships with artists and their teams, ensuring full execution and plan compliance of all assets and campaigns.
- Edit/create content for different channels as needed (e.g. images, cover photos, videos, headlines, etc.)
- Maintain and cultivate a positive relationship with our external influencers on behalf of the company.
- You take responsibility for the social media tracking and insight tools and set benchmarks for the impact of social media.
- Participation in Shogun Audio brand activities (events, photo shoots, video recordings, studio sessions, etc. to capture social content when needed).
- You are part of the team and support the events when needed.
ABOUT YOU
- Ideally at least 2 years of experience in managing social media channels and implementing marketing plans.
- Degree in marketing or business administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Undeniable experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Have extensive knowledge of Shogun Audio, D&B and the electronic music industry brands and be a true D&B music and visual arts fan.
- Excellent time management – the ability to effectively manage time in line with company priorities.
- Have a genuine desire and ability to work closely with internal and external teams.
- Be proactive, enthusiastic and passionate and stay at the forefront of the ever-changing D&B world.
- Team player – Has a can-do attitude and is willing to be flexible to support the company.
- Able to work at least two days per week in the Brighton office.
