There are some big changes planned for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, including the new Omnimovement system that will allow you to move fluidly around the battlefield and a single-player training course to get your skills up to speed. Unlike previous betas that were exclusive to PlayStation, BO6 will be released simultaneously on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, so it will be released simultaneously on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Additionally, Game Pass subscribers on Xbox and PC will be able to access the Early Access beta automatically, with no pre-order required. How to access the Black Ops 6 beta
To access the Black Ops 6 beta, you’ll first need to find it through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Battle.net, or Steam. If you pre-ordered the game digitally, you should now be able to download the Early Access beta automatically through those platforms’ storefronts. If you pre-ordered a physical copy, you’ll have received separate instructions for accessing the beta with a redemption code. If you are a Game Pass subscriber, you can also play the Black Ops 6 Early Access betaHowever, Game Pass Console subscribers may also need Game Pass Core to use multiplayer features.
The same process is used to access the Black Ops 6 open beta, so if you install it now, you’ll be good to go on September 6. While it should be available to download now on consoles, PC players may have to wait a bit longer for it to be added to Battle.net and Steam.
Black Ops 6 Beta Start Date and Times
As always, there are two levels of access to the Black Ops 6 beta, depending on whether or not you paid for the full game up front. For those who pre-order (and Game Pass subscribers), the The Early Access Beta for Black Ops 6 begins on Friday, August 30th and runs until Wednesday, September 4thso that you can get a taste of what is to come for five days. For everyone else, the The Black Ops 6 open beta begins on Friday, September 6th and runs through Monday, September 9th.giving the larger player base three more days to explore.
