Your favorite over-the-top rockers from Down Under are coming to the USA.
From August to November, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard will play three-hour (!) marathon sets in amphitheaters, music halls, stadiums, parks and forums across North America to promote their electrifying new album “Flight b741”.
This includes two performances at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY on Friday, August 16th and Saturday, August 17th.
“This is going to be MEGA. New melodies, new places, great atmosphere, great love,” the psychedelic prog group shared on Instagram. “No set breaks, endless party.”
And while we don’t know what songs will be on the setlist – after all, the band has released 26 studio albums in the past 12 years – we do know that their live show is one you won’t want to miss.
Fortunately, last-minute tickets are still available for all upcoming concerts.
At the time of publication, the lowest ticket price we could find was $26 before fees at Vivid Seats.
Other KGLW shows have seating prices starting at $30 to $149 before fees.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard – new music
On Friday, August 9th, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard released their 26th studio album “Flight b741”.
And it could be a contender for the title of best of the year.
“Flight b741” consists of ten fast-paced tracks. It takes off as soon as the first strings are struck and then refuses to let up once it reaches cruising altitude.
Although the record consists entirely of A+ hits—none of which would sound out of place on a Zeppelin record from their ’60s heyday—look for the rollicking, bluesy-tinged “Antarctica,” the edgy rock song “Raw Feel,” and the nascent sing-along anthem “Field of Vision.”
Not to mention the goofy, country-heavy disco sound of “Hog Calling Contest,” the Boz Scaggs-esque “Le Risque,” or the bar smash “Flight b741.”
Somehow, every tune here is better than the last – for our money, “Flight b741” sounds like it was written in a cloud of smoke in 1967, and we can’t get enough of it.
Maybe this is even the first flight that we wish was longer.
Want to try the album? You can find the full album here.
