“The series is about three best friends – gay men of a certain age – who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their retirement together in Palm Springs, where the richest of them lives with his mother and a naked Generation Z housekeeper.
“Mid-Century Modern with Nathan Lane as Bunny Schneiderman, Matt Bomer as Jerry Frank and Linda Lavin as Sybil Schneiderman, Bunny’s mother. Bunny is a successful businessman who already has one foot in retirement. He is constantly looking for love, but first has to be convinced that he deserves it.
“Like her son, Sybil’s strengths are also her weaknesses: she is wise, caring and iconoclastic – which sometimes means she is critical, smothering and amoral. Jerry left the Mormon Church and his marriage in his early 20s after his wife told him and the rest of the congregation that he was gay.
