On Monday, 26 Augustth2024, the Mayor and City Council of Doral proudly opened the eastern portion of Doral Central Park! This major milestone was celebrated with the community, project contractor Kaufman Lynn Construction, architect Bermello Ajamil & Partners, and several local community leaders. New and exciting amenities include playgrounds, an amphitheater, multi-purpose fields, a skate park and pump track, a boardwalk, a fishing pier and kayak launch, gazebos, and outdoor fitness equipment.
Event attendees enjoyed music, food, bouncy castles, interactive games, giveaways, and a high-energy concert in the brand new amphitheater featuring Orlando Mendez and Los Wizzards!
The western portion of the park is scheduled to be completed and open to the public in early 2025. This half of the park will include the community center, an aquatic facility, outdoor basketball and tennis courts, and additional parking. Stay tuned for updates!
