“I think that’s it for the summer editions of Man Utd”published at 14:51 British Summer Time

Charlotte Duncker, football journalist at The Times, has reviewed Manchester United’s summer transfer dealings ahead of an expected deal to sign midfielder Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking on the Football Daily podcast, Duncker said that despite United’s interest in Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling and a number of other players, she believes the Red Devils’ summer of spending is now over.
“I could imagine that,” said Duncker when asked if that was all Manchester United spent for the summer.
“They have been linked with a lot of strikers but having spent £190m, obviously selling Scott McTominay helps with the PSR sanctions but I can’t imagine they would go out and bring in a striker now considering the calibre of striker they want to improve their attacking line and how much it would cost them.
“I could imagine that once this deal is done, we will make some more departures of reserve players, for example Victor Lindelof, who is difficult to get rid of due to injury but is superfluous.
“There are a few players they could move, but I suspect this is the last one to come in.”
