Prince Harry, who accompanied his wife Meghan Markle to Colombia, has finally decided to embark on a new trip without the Duchess amid reports of a reconciliation with King Charles.
This came amid claims that the 75-year-old king misses the bond with his youngest son and believes the duke will return to him.
“Charles still loves Harry and wants him back for personal reasons. He believes Harry could return. He misses the bond they once had and the door will always remain open for him and his family. He does not want years of discord and disharmony to overshadow his reign,” a source told the Daily mail.
The Duke of Sussex has confirmed that he will split from Meghan next month to travel to New York. The former Suits star has also accepted Harry’s decision as she wants him to shine.
Michael Cole has shared his thoughts on Harry’s recent announcement, claiming it was an attempt to “prove he’s still relevant” after stepping down as an active member of the royal family in 2020.
Cole said GB News: “When you’re a member of the royal family, you’re just important. When you’re a non-permanent member of the firm living in California, you have to travel a lot to show the world that you have some value. Hence the recent trips with his wife to Nigeria and Colombia.”
“He is travelling to New York during the week of the General Assembly, the largest debate in the world, and Climate Week, carrying the banner of the Archewell Foundation.”
Climate Week begins on September 22 and ends on September 29, while High-level Week begins on September 23 and lasts until September 27.
Everything is going well between Meghan and Harry. She is even happy that the Duke is tackling the issue on his own to put the spotlight on what is really important to him, a source claimed.
Harry’s spokesman said: “He will take part in engagements with African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award and Travalyst.”
