PRO Audio Technology celebrates 20th anniversary with new loudspeaker series

Pro Audio Technology (PRO), a provider of high-performance loudspeakers and DSP loudspeaker controllers for private screening rooms, celebrates its 20th^th fiscal year and to mark the occasion, the company is bringing a new series of speakers to CEDIA Expo 2024.

The California-based company claims that the five new multi-purpose speakers fill a gap in the premium segment of the market for powerful, compact and flexible audio solutions for fixed and portable commercial and residential installations.

PRO speakers are built to order in the USA and are engineered to deliver vibrant dynamics, high maximum output levels and sophisticated acoustic performance. For the past 20 years, the high-performance manufacturer has focused on designing and manufacturing a complete line of speakers and DSP-enhanced speaker controllers that meet the needs of high-end residential installations, bringing cinema sound into the home – most commonly upscale private screening rooms.

At CEDIA Expo 2024, the company will present a new range of loudspeaker models aimed at the commercial sector, but also particularly interesting for high-end dvLED installations (or more commonly known as video wall). Compact, PRO’s new loudspeakers offer planners and integrators powerful and premium audio solutions that do not compromise aesthetics and can be installed in places where space is at a premium.

The new PRO speakers are also designed with integrators in mind, with features like ergonomic handles, multiple flight points, industry-standard mounting points and pole caps. With PRO’s optional PRO SplitYoke multi-purpose mounting brackets, all PRO Commercial speakers can be easily installed on walls, ceilings, floors and other surfaces. And the PRO SplitYoke mounting kits work with all five models, so no additional accessories are required, according to the company.

PRO also highlights that dealers can add the PRO Caster Kit, designed for the CF-212.3 full-range speaker or CLF-212 subwoofer, and the models are instantly portable. Once the casters are installed, integrators simply need to roll the speaker into place, connect the speaker cables to an external Theory speaker controller, and it’s ready to play. This convenience, PRO says, is especially ideal for DJs, outdoor events, corporate events, hospitality, and more where big, clear, full-range sound is required. All-weather versions of each model are also available.

Here are some highlights of the five new PRO speakers:

• CF-46.2:
  • Four 6″ two-way multi-purpose speakers with an ultra-slim profile that provides 120-degree conical dispersion. Included: Integrated pole cups and ergonomic handles.
  • Optional: PRO SplitYoke multi-purpose mounting bracket kit for horizontal and vertical surface mounting.
• CF-28.2
  • Dual 8″ 2-way multipurpose speaker with 80 degree x 60 degree elliptical horn. Included: Integrated pole cups and ergonomic handles.
  • Optional: PRO SplitYoke multi-purpose mounting bracket kit for horizontal and vertical surface mounting.
• CF-112.2
  • Single 12″ 2-way multi-purpose speaker with 80 degree x 60 degree elliptical horn. Includes: Integrated pole cups and ergonomic handles.
  • Optional: PRO SplitYoke multi-purpose mounting bracket kit for horizontal and vertical surface mounting.
• CF-212.3
  • Full-range multi-purpose speaker with integrated subwoofer. Two 12-inch and two 8-inch 3-way multi-purpose speakers. Robust housing with modern aesthetics and only 10 inches deep. Included: Ergonomic handles
  • Optionally:
    • PRO SplitYoke multi-purpose mounting bracket kit for horizontal and vertical surface mounting.
    • Set of wheels for mobility.
• CLF-212
  • Powerful, compact bass reflex subwoofer with two 12-inch woofers with 1,400 watts. Sound-matched to CF-46.2, CF-28.2 and CF-112.2. Included in delivery: integrated pole cups and ergonomic handles.
  • Optional: PRO SplitYoke multi-purpose mounting bracket kit for horizontal and vertical surface mounting.

All five new PRO speakers will be available in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024. CEDIA Expo attendees can see and hear them at booth 1943 and in HPA Room 202.
