Corsair has announced its new M55 mice, which come in both wired and wireless versions. The range includes small, simple mice, but sometimes you just don’t need much more.
M55: a Corsair mouse that gets straight to the point!
With this mouse, Corsair offers us a rather simple reference with a black casing without RGB lighting. Nor do you expect a reference packed with buttons of all kinds, because leaving aside the main clicks and the scroll wheel, you will only find two additional side buttons.
Otherwise, the shape is rather simple and the mouse measures 62 (W) x 118 (D) x 38 (H) mm. The wired version weighs 55 g, while the wireless version weighs 85 g including the battery.
Internally, the data sheet is to the point: this reference has an optical sensor that can withstand accelerations of 35 G with a tracking speed of 300 IPS and a sensitivity of up to 16,000 DPI. As for clicks, we know that they have a lifespan of 60 million activations. And finally, in terms of autonomy, the wireless model is equipped with a battery that offers 185 hours of autonomy via SlipStream and 400 hours via Bluetooth.
Finally, we would like to mention the very attractive price of this model, which is indicated at $29.99 for the wired version and $49.99 for the wireless version.
