One of the best people to interview is Lewis Pullman. I say that because we always have a lot of fun talking and chatting with him about his new film. Skin care was no different! But when I got the chance, I had to ask another his films.
Top Shooter: Maverick became the biggest hit of the summer in 2022 and left fans excited to see what the film could become. He played Bob and was the popular bespectacled pilot who Hangman (Glen Powell) tirelessly made fun of. Now that Pullman is playing another Bob, in Thunderbolts*Fans have been wondering when the original Bob would return.
Powell spoke about Top Gun 3 and said that they were working on it, so I got the chance to ask Pullman about it. I asked the Bad times at the El Royale I asked the actor to grimace if he had any information about the film and he replied that he would tell me if he knew anything.
“Rachel, I would tell you if I knew, and I could probably text,” he said. “For some reason, I read the article too, I could text Glen, but I don’t want to get involved. I haven’t heard of it, but I would. But it sounds like it’s still in the pipeline, you know?”
Previously I made the comment about Pullman being Bob Squared thanks to the two roles he has played, and he asked if his status in Top Gun 3 would change that at all. I said he was still Bob Squared (since it’s the same Bob), and he joked that now he would have to credit me every time he said “Bob Squared.”
This obviously happened after I said that I only saw some Bob and Hangman scenes in Top Gun 3. “I love even more Bob and Hangman scenes,” he said. “So in the future, when I say Bob Squared, do I have to credit you as the source and say the trademark is Rachel?”
