ACTUALLY NICE: Tom Hanks
Hanks is one of the most popular actors in Hollywood and those who have worked with him can attest to his authenticity in real life. After working with him on The circleEmma Watson had nothing but praise: “I thought, ‘There’s no way this guy is going to live up to his reputation,’ right?” she told E! News. “There’s no way he’s going to be as nice as everyone says and whatever. And then he was!”
“He’s so generous and funny and easy-going and everything you want him to be. So I’m very happy to be able to tell you this honestly because I think it would have broken my heart if Tom wasn’t Tom.”

ACTUALLY NICE: Jim Parsons
The The Big Bang Theory The actor has received a lot of praise for his professionalism and demeanor on set. When showrunner Chuck Lorre talked about what it was like working with him on the show, he called Parsons a “comic genius” and said, “It was just one of the greatest gifts of my career to see such talent.”
In an interview with Parade, co-star Mayim Bialik, who played Amy Farrah Fowler, said: “He’s fantastic. He’s very professional. He gives a lot of space to try new things. He’s very conscientious, which I am, so that’s great.”
In an interview with Variety, director Ryan Murphy also talked about his experiences working with Parsons on The normal heart: “He is what you expect, what you expect of him. He is such a gentleman, so creative… Jim has a really rare gift as a person, as an artist and as an actor. He has a real purity and simplicity.”

ACTUALLY NICE: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
Zac Efron told Entertainment Weekly about his experience working with The Rock on Baywatch: “He’s a funny guy. He’s constantly evolving and getting better with time, like a flower that never stops blooming,” he said. “But it was great, he was fantastic.”
Alvin Streeter, who acted as Johnson’s double in several films, also praised his work ethic in an interview with CNBC: “He works hard every day,” he said. “When you work with him, the intensity is palpable and you can see it and feel it in the air. He’s traveling at 150 miles per hour every day.”

Meryl Streep was praised by her co-stars – and she blew them away with her talent. Jackman received much praise from those who worked with him, including director Tom Hooper, who told The Hollywood Reporter about working with the star. The Misérables: “He’s so nice too – it’s just amazing,” he said. “No matter how many hours he works, no matter how much he has to sing, he’s always kind to the crew. He’s always a wonderful leader. He’s kind of inspirational. And I don’t want to go too far with this, otherwise I’ll sound like I’m being effusive – but he really is a pretty amazing person.”

REALLY NICE: Drew Barrymore
Costar Bella Thorne received huge compliments when she talked about what it was like working with Drew Barrymore – and Adam Sandler – in the film Mixed. “They (Barrymore and Sandler) are exactly how you imagine them to be on screen and in their private lives,” she told the Latin Post in 2014. “They are fun-loving personalities. They have such a great charisma when they perform. Everyone on our set has a lot of fun.”

ACTUALLY HANDSOME: Adam Sandler
Bella Thorne wasn’t the only person to praise working with Adam Sandler. Longtime friend Kevin James told Access Hollywood why he loves working with the actor so much: “It’s always family, yeah, absolutely. It’s the greatest. It’s literally like going back to summer camp with all your friends. It’s really fun, you know. You have them all there.”
Lauren Lapkus, who is in The wrong Miss — a Netflix film produced by Sandler’s production company, Happy Madison Productions – told Los Angeles Daily News how positive her experience was and how well Adam treats his crew: “One thing that’s really nice is that there’s a sense of family within the production because a lot of the people are actually related. But even if they’re not related, they’ve been working together for about 20 years,” she said. “He’s really loyal to his crew – people who do hair and makeup and every single department – so most of the people have worked on Happy Madison films for decades. It was nice to feel like you were immediately welcomed into the community in that way.”

Executive producer and director Ryan Murphy worked with Brown on American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpsonand in an interview with IndieWire, he raved about his talent and character. “(Sterling) comes prepared to win. He knows every line by heart… He’s an incredible role model, and I think Sterling is also someone who can do anything,” he said. “I think that’s another thing that people sense about him: He’s just grateful and humble as a person, and he’s also incredibly fun to hang out with.”

A lot of people love Keanu Reeves, and it turns out he’s super selfless too.
