Carrie Bradshaw isn’t the only one in town with cute shoes. While filming an episode of “And Just Like That…” on August 28, actress Nicole Ari Parker was seen in chic pumps and an eclectic look.
Parker plays Lisa Todd Wexley in the series. In the latest pictures from the set, she is wearing a pair of white patent pumps with a black toe cap. The shoes have a strap over the instep. The strap has a small gold buckle.
The pump is by Jennifer Chamandi. The company calls it its Lorenzo Bicolor Mary Jane Pump. The strap is probably why the British brand calls it a Mary Jane, although the silhouette is often low and features a rounded toe. The Lorenzo silhouette is a signature style.
Chamandi, an eight-year-old brand, is loved by royals like Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and Queen Rania, and Bella Hadid wore the label even before its launch.
It’s certainly not the first black and white heel to appear on the show. In fact, Sarah Jessica Parker wore Maison Margiela’s eccentric Bourgeois Spectator heel while portraying her character Carrie Bradshaw during filming earlier this summer. This shoe, with its sculpted heel, features brogue detailing and Margiela’s signature Tabi toe. Before that, she was seen in a pair of black and white pumps with polka dot detailing from the Sarah Jessica Parker Collection.
Earlier this month, it was announced that SJP Collection would be closing its doors. After a decade in business, the company will be closing in the fall.
And Just Like That… was created by a costume design team that includes Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago. During filming, they often provide fans with full look analysis, including shoes, on their personal Instagram accounts as well as the shared costume department account.
