Adam Sander made Travis Kelce laugh after telling the Kansas City Chiefs star how crazy his family went when he started dating Taylor Swift.
Sandler appeared as a special guest on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast this week after recently confirming that the two will work together on “Happy Gilmore 2.”
The NFL legend is expected to make a cameo appearance in the sequel to the 1996 hit film, after previously auditioning for every possible role.
With filming set to begin in the next few weeks, Kelce invited Sandler to New Heights to talk about “Happy Gilmore” and a number of other topics.
And one of them was, of course, Swift.

The acting legend revealed in Kelce’s podcast that Swift means “so much” to his family
Sander told a hilarious story on the podcast about how much the pop sensation means to his family, which elicited huge laughs from Travis and his brother Jason.
The acting icon told Kelce about his romance with Swift: “You guys are together, I mean… when you started dating, my family was my God and said, ‘Yeah! Look how good they are together, he’s a gentleman! And she has so much fun with him!'”
“Every time Taylor laughs with you, my whole damn family high fives you.”
Despite being one of the most famous actors in the world, Sandler previously admitted that he gets nervous around Swift, after calling her one of the few stars who truly fascinated him.
This revelation came up during his appearance on New Heights, and he explained: “I get nervous around Taylor Swift because I don’t want to screw it up in front of my kids and say something stupid,” he said.
“So I’m like, ‘Damn, she means so much to my damn house, I better say the right thing!'”

Kelce had previously stressed that he was ready to play any possible role in the upcoming film
Swift’s legion of die-hard fans never tire of speculating that Kelce would get down on one knee and propose to her beloved singer.
On the eve of the new season, NFL insider Adam Schefter dropped a clear hint that Travis may have bought an engagement ring just over a year after his romance with Taylor began.
Schefter, one of the sport’s most respected reporters, jokingly questioned ESPN anchor Laura Rutledge when she responded to news that Kelce had bought a racehorse with a name inspired by Swift by joking that he hadn’t bought a ring yet.
“Wait, I have a question,” he said. “Laura, how do you know Travis Kelce didn’t buy an engagement ring?”
Rutledge replied, “I don’t know. Do you know? Are you going to announce big news here?”

Scheftler paused, looking very shy, then added, “I’m just saying that you said he didn’t buy an engagement ring, and I’m wondering where you got that information.”
Two-time NFL champion Booger McFarland then said, “Whoah, whoah, whoah… this awkward silence here speaks volumes. Schefty, you know what?
“America wants to know.”
But Schefter replied: “I just asked how Laura knew he didn’t buy an engagement ring. That’s all I did.”
